Libraries thrive when everyone in the community can see themselves represented in the collection. Materials created for, by, and about traditionally underrepresented people and populations can help members of those populations feel more at home, and can also help other members of the community to understand and appreciate their neighbors.

Asian cultures have their own vibrant and beloved comic forms, with manga being one notable example. Likewise, creators of Asian descent are thriving in the American and Canadian comics industry.

Help patrons explore the fantastic body of comics made by and celebrating Asian voices and their experiences. Here are some great places to start.
