We’re happy to keep the NLB updated on all things Hoopla! Ever innovating, Hoopla’s administration portal provides easy access to the catalogue of titles and lending models of interest to the NLB.
Searching the Hoopla Administration Portal
To assist in searching the Hoopla admin portal, please see the brief video below from Hoopla Customer Support Specialist Sarah Zam. The video provides an overview on how to use basic and advanced search in the administration portal and points out documentation available through the Hoopla Reference Desk.
The basic search function in the administration portal bases search functionality on predictive text. The administration portal allows filtering in both basic and advanced search. Advanced search filtering allows users to sort by format, licence type, title, ISBN, publisher, language and other criteria. More general searching is available through the SmartBrowse functionality. Searching by ISBN is also a precise way to find a specific title .
The video also directs to the “Reference Desk”, a repository housing several helpful articles on how to use Hoopla, including search. The Reference Desk is accessible through the administration portal.

Hoopla provides a comprehensive reporting dashboard with on-screen visualisations and full data export capabilities.
