Introduced in 2021, BingePass offers seven days of unlimited access to entire collections and platforms for just one borrow—and has been a hit with libraries and patrons alike.

A recent addition to the BingePass offering, SeasonPass extends this access to select full TV seasons with a single borrow. Patrons can explore new series or revisit a favorite, all with no waiting.

Just like all other BingePasses, SeasonPass gives patrons more for their borrow and helps libraries stretch their digital budget further by lowering their overall cost per circulation.

Good for Patrons, Good for Libraries

We work with our content partners to enhance the pricing model for certain TV seasons, making SeasonPass more cost effective than paying for borrows of individual episodes. One example: the 10-episode first season of The Librarians is available for $2.99 per SeasonPass borrow, while borrows for each individual episode cost $1.79, or $17.90 for the whole season.* Patrons use only one borrow instead of 10 and libraries save 83% with SeasonPass—a win for both!

At that same price, the library starts saving after only two episode views. And with the ability to unblock SeasonPass titles without changing their price cap, libraries can ensure that patrons never miss their favorite show.

As with everything on Hoopla, SeasonPass has no subscription fees, platform fees, maintenance costs, add-ons, or any other hidden charges—and is ad free. New SeasonPasses are automatically added to library catalogs as they become available with no additional effort from the team. If a price cap is in place, the library can simply unblock the new title.
